I'm a computer scientist who is obsessed with AI, machine learning, and applying them to my other passions including education, video games, and urban planning. Over the past several years I've done research in Bayesian networks, Causal Models, educational technology, multi-agent systems, and ontologies. My projects include a prototype story telling game for young children, a multi-agent system for user model interoperability, and an analysis of using causal models in education research. Current Focus
I've returned to Canada in 2008 and co-founded Scowler Monkey Software a startup trying to make software tools which should have been but never were. Our first project was a tool which automatically repairs broken links from your web site, freeing you from drudgery and improving your user experience. Our newest product is Tidylines - an online outliner which lets you to create, edit, and share outlines. I'm currently also working at Elastic Path Software.
